Things to do in Gothenburg – beach volleyball and cross-country skiing indoors at the multisports arena at Kviberg Park

Things to do in Gothenburg in connection with a conference
Thanks to our location in the Nordic region's largest multisports arena, a wide range of activities are right on your doorstep. At the same time, central Gothenburg is just a short journey away, offering plenty of opportunities to explore the city's attractions and entertainment. Private guests are also warmly welcome to enjoy the hotel's facilities and the active environment.
For many companies, "things to do in Gothenburg" is about creating a successful overall experience for employees, clients or partners. That's why we offer modern conference facilities that can easily be combined with activities and shared experiences.
Why guests love staying with us
- 12 minutes to the city centre. Three tram lines stop a five-minute walk from the hotel and take you to the heart of Göteborg in twelve minutes. Parking is available in a garage at a great price.
- Sport and activities on site. A gym is located within the hotel building. Within walking distance you'll also find outdoor padel, indoor climbing at Klätterdome, and the gym Fit for Fight.
- 8 conference rooms. From smaller meeting rooms to large event spaces. We help you plan everything from a half-day meeting to a multi-day conference complete with dinner and activities.
- Restaurant on site. Our Italian-American restaurant serves everything from breakfast buffet to à la carte dinners. Great food without having to go anywhere else.
- Family-friendly accommodation. Family rooms sleeping four to six, an on-site restaurant, and plenty of space to move around in and around the arena. Pets are welcome.
- Pets welcome. Bring your dog along for the trip. We welcome four-legged guests and make sure you both feel at home during your stay.

Activities for companies and teams
One of our greatest strengths is the wide range of activities on offer. For companies looking for things to do in Göteborg, we offer plenty of ways to tailor the stay to your group's size and preferences.
Right next to the hotel you'll find, among other things, Skidome – Sweden's only indoor cross-country skiing facility – along with beach volleyball, a gym, sports halls, and other training options. We can also help arrange activities such as quizzes, team building, and other social elements suited to both smaller teams and larger companies.
By combining meetings with activities, you create a more engaging conference where participants get the chance to connect outside the meeting room as well.

Hotel, restaurant and conference all in one place
When companies plan conferences or kick-offs, there's a real advantage to having everything under one roof. That's why Kviberg Park Hotel & Conference offers modern hotel rooms, flexible conference facilities, and a restaurant all within one cohesive venue.
We offer conference packages where accommodation, coffee breaks, lunch, and dinner can be tailored to fit the day's programme. This simplifies logistics and gives participants more time to focus on meetings, activities, and togetherness.
After an intensive conference day, the group can unwind with a shared dinner at our restaurant or carry on the evening with one of the many activities available in the area.

Discover more to do in Göteborg
Even though we have a lot to offer on site, there is of course even more to do in Göteborg. Thanks to excellent transport links, you can quickly reach the city's most well-known attractions, restaurants, shops, and cultural experiences.
Many companies choose to complement their conference with a visit to Liseberg, Scandinavium, or one of Göteborg's many events. This makes the stay even more appreciated and gives participants the chance to experience the city's wide range of offerings.
For leisure guests, our location also makes it easy to combine your hotel stay with sightseeing, family activities, or an active weekend in Göteborg.

What makes Kviberg Park different
- The activity hotel. We're not a spa and wine-and-dine hotel. Here, both body and mind get a workout, with access to trainers and coaches. There's a gym on site. Within walking distance you'll find outdoor padel, indoor climbing, and the gym Fit for Fight.
- Every tenth booking gives back. When you book conference activities as a group, we donate every tenth booking to a youth organisation of your choice. Kviberg is a hive — a community within a community — and the money stays with the next generation.
- Beehives and honey from the rooftop. Companies can invest in their own beehives with us. After summer, the locally produced honey is sold on site.
- The world's largest indoor beach volleyball centre. It's right here. Sand, nets, and tournament formats all year round, whatever the weather does outside.
- Rooms with a view of the football pitch. A handful of rooms face the full-size indoor pitch — your own private box. They're exceptionally quiet and great for deep sleep and unwinding. Some of them are rented as dog-friendly rooms when the fireworks start.
- Skidome one day, beach the next. Skidome is nearby — the Gothenburg region has the most Vasaloppet skiers in Sweden thanks to it. A morning on the slopes and an afternoon on the sand is entirely possible.
- Easy to get here. Coaches park easily at the venue and breakfast hours are generous. The tram stop is a five-minute walk away and the city centre is just twelve minutes.
Groups we welcome
We're a sports federation looking for a summer camp venue — does that work?
Yes. There's a full-size sports hall for basketball, floorball and handball, a beach hall, Skidome, a gym, conference facilities, food and accommodation all at the same address. Group size is only limited by available rooms and beds — 121 rooms and 355 beds. Football training camps are sold in Sweden and Norway exclusively through Olka; other sports are booked directly with us. The ice rink across the street is booked through the City of Göteborg and the Sports Administration. Everything is arranged on request — we don't have fixed package prices at this time.
We're a travel agency with coach groups on a European tour.

We're travelling for pilgrimage purposes — is there space for devotion?
The pilgrimage route is nearby. One of the conference rooms can be hired as a prayer room, the hotel rooms are simple and peaceful, and breakfast is nutritious. Packed lunches can be arranged as part of the setup. Get in touch and we'll put something together for your group.
We want to train cross-country skiing but have no snow at home.
Skidome is nearby and has snow all year round. Many Vasaloppet skiers from southern Sweden use it as a training base, and with us you're just minutes from the track. Feel free to combine it with a gym session on site.
Can we bring our dog?
Yes, pets are welcome. Some of the quiet rooms facing the indoor pitch are also rented out as dog-friendly rooms during fireworks periods.
How do we book?
Send us a request and we'll get back to you with a proposal. We tailor everything to your group – ready-made packages are not available at the moment but will be offered after the summer. Call us at 031-395 11 00 or email [email protected].
